Our Craft
Sculptural objects cast by hand in premium water-based eco-resin, designed for timeless interiors.

Myth & Marble is an independent studio in Thessaloniki, Greece, making sculptural objects for the home. Every piece is cast, demoulded, sanded and finished by hand in the same workshop — there is no factory and no production line.
We work in small batches. A piece is only listed once we are satisfied with how it feels in the hand, not once it is technically finished.
Our material is a premium water-based eco-resin: a mineral composite bound with water rather than solvents. It cures into a dense, cool, stone-like body that takes marbling beautifully and carries none of the odour or toxicity associated with conventional casting resins.
Pigment is folded in by hand before each pour, which is why the veining in every object is different. Two trays from the same mould are never the same tray.
The forms come from Greek antiquity — shells, waves, worn river stones, votive dishes — reduced until only the silhouette remains. The intention is that a piece reads as archaeological and contemporary at once, and sits quietly in a modern interior for decades.
Our three finishes — Aegean Marble, Marquina Black and Carrara White — are drawn from the marbles of the Mediterranean.
Nothing we make is intended for a display cabinet. The trays hold keys and rings, the vessels hold tealights, the bowls hold whatever a room needs holding. Each piece is water-resistant for normal daily use and designed for indoor living.
Because each object is individually hand cast, slight variations in weight, finish and marble pattern are part of its unique character.
